Any thought on value:
in local Craigs lisp @ $
270

Rickenbacher Electro slide guitar
pre 1947, noted by old spelling, probably from the mid 30s.
All black with little wear, horse shoe pick up, tone and volume knobs, works great.
Well loved and played by 'Tommy' whose name is on the hard case.

Model 59 ca 1939. Price depends on how much you trust the seller and if you have to buy sight unseen or if you can make an in-hand evaluation. In this economy it's hard to know what is the right price. Probably between 400-700 bucks. If you can see and play a good example it could be worth paying more.

The photography is just unacceptable.
It's a Model 59 no doubt, probably the second version.
They're terrific lap steels.
I think John nailed the price range.
