As I posted before........ After two yrs. of learning and practising I started playing with the praise and worship group at church. The only time they come together to go over the songs, is sunday morning before church. I did recieve a play list today [Sat.]. My question and the help I need is that 3 of the songs are not in major keys. The root of one is Am7 as the 1 chord, and I don't know what the 4 or 5 would be, unless I am not thinking it out like I should Sad The other two are: [Em] root. 4 and 5 ????. [Am] root. 4 and 5 ????. The rest of the songs are in major keys. I only have untill tommorrow morning yo find out what the structure would be for these three songs, other wise I will have to hunt and peck, and depend on my ear during the short time I have to run over them with the group. Hope this makes sence...... "HELP" Thanks Jack<><

the 4 chord is probably the ivm
the 5 is probably the V7

in Am -- Am Dm E7
in Em -- Em Am B7

Are they standard songs? Titles?

This is my best guess.

I agree. There is an outside chance that the V chord may appear as minor,

in Am -- Em
in Em -- Bm.

Also don't be surprised if a b6 major chord crops up depending on the song style/hymn book.

in Am -- F
in Em -- C

There is also the possibility that the song starts on the vi chord making the one that starts on Am actually in C and the one starting on Em being actually in G but this should be obvious from the final chord that should (will) be the root.
