Unless these tired old eyes fooled me, I never saw the steeler. I can therefore only assume (1) the steel part was canned, or (2) the cameraman, oops, watch that PC stuff, CAMERA PERSON, was totally anti-steel, and/or like so many camera operators these days had no idea which instrument was playing nor which instrument/musician on which s/he should be pointing her/his lens. (In other words, wouldn't know a steel guitar if it hit him/her in the butt, full force.

Still, that aside, those were some smooth and haunting licks being laid down by whomever was playing that bad boy steel.

My hat off to the entire group in that set.

I remember that night that Willie and Kris came by and sang a few tunes at the bar. I had The Hitchin Post two door down where The Legends Gift Shop is now and they both posed for a picture in front of my window. It was darn cold that night!
