I want to know if it's possible to record the vocal, on track one, and the rhythm on track two at the same time.It sure would make it easier for me considering that I'm a novice at this!!Smile Would appreciate any advice.

If it records "stereo" (two tracks) you can record through the Line In on the PC, which is stereo. However, you will need a preamp to amplify the mic to near "line level" as the mic output is too low for a PC. Same way with your guitar, you need a "line out" level for it too.

With a stereo input, you put the guitar on one side (left or right) and the mic on the opposite.

I know nothing about the Adobe software, but you can download the free Audacity recording program and do it with that program. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

The only trouble would be that the mike will pick up the guitar....Get yourself one of these.you can record 8 tracks at a time without crossover. works great with Adobe Audition..
