Hello all. Just completed rebuilding my new guitar, a 4 x 5 (now) MSA semi classic so I'm selling this Mid 1970s MSA Classic D12, tidewood mica. I've had it for a few years now and it was always a bit too much guitar for me. I am hoping for a local sale in the Southeast (Columbus/Atlanta area) to insure peace of mind for the buyer and me. I've become kind of disillusioned with long distance high ticket sales. Guitar and original Thomas case are in excellent condition. No major scratches, no chips in the mica. There are some bar dings on the C6 fretboard as it probably hasn't been strung up in a long time (it wasn't when I got it and I never got to C6). There was a minor repair to the wood under the E9 changer end block. It does not affect sound or appearance and you wouldn't know it was there if I didn't tell you about it (I think few people would). As a consequence, the E9 changer has been completely cleaned, lubed, and reassembled. There is some wear to the holes in the endplate where the 1 1/2" aluminum "barrels" come through on some of the more frequently used E9 pulls. Setup on the E9 neck (which now has light gauge strings) is typical MSA (extended E9, no pulls on 11 or 12): RKR lowers Es, RKL raises Es, LKR lowers #2 and LKL raises #1 and #7. The C6 neck looks to be factory setup (see pic). Asking $1,250. Thanks for looking and please feel free to ask questions.

Best Regards
Harvey Richman

Please note. The second (upside down) endplate pic shows a lower on the 9 string which is no longer on the guitar but does not show the raise on the 7 string which now is on the guitar. Thanks.
