We have talked about the best and the worst concerts,Somewhere in the 70's was in a band that opened for the country singer Don Williams,[I am by NO means putting him down]In his prime he had millions of fans and sold MILLIONS of records,in fact that day we had to do two shows, but his laaaaaid back style was'nt my cup of tea, bored the hell out of me. The only up tempo tune was Tulsa Time, and his guitar player Danny Flowers [who wrote the song] did that one. DYKBC.

Charlie, I have to agree with you. I caught his show in Fort Worth during the 70's and I have to tell you I nearly fell asleep when he was on stage. The pre-show was damned good but Mr. Williams put me out.

The musical circles I ran in back then respectfully dubbed him "Mr. Excitement."

Bruce Cockburn. Hamilton Place in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Early 80s. It should have been good because the album he was touring had some great tracks, including "If I Had A Rocket Launcher."

He had a guy who played the stick.

Should have been good. Wasn't. Just boring.
