In the NV400's and I suspect the other Peavey (possibly other brands as well) the connector for the reverb tank loosens/corrodes/etc. causing noise in the amp. To help prevent this in the future for those type connectors, would it be ok to put a little dab of di-electric grease in the connector before re-connecting? That is often used in auto spark plug wires to prevent leakage and corrosion on the connectors. Any thoughts as to whether this would be ok or not?

I've repaired alot of NV400 and other amp's reverb tank connections. I prefer to use "de-oxit gold" for all audio connections. It is available from www.partsexpress.com
