I'm currently running V11 under XP. Is 2009 a compelling reason to upgrade? I'm interested in quickly converting BIAB to MP3 which is currently a multi-step process for me.

I've collected a few styles which I use for shuffles, swing, rockabilly. I'm looking for a few "rockish" and "jazz" styles in addition to classic country applications. Open source or MegaPaks? Care to make a few recommendations?

And lastly..I'll be sharing with a new BIAB Mac user. Any glitches?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

As I understand it the latest Mac version has not been released yet. BIAB files such as .MGU or .SGU should work in PC or Mac.

The newest BIAB come with Real Band I think, which allows you to import BIAB files into Real Band, and then convert them to either wav or MP3 or wmv if you use the DXi soft synth.

Check the PG website for details, if you love BIAB, I'd wait for the new mid year update which usually means they will run some combo specials.

I might be a beginner now, but someday I'm gonna steel the show.
