What is a S-10 Shobud with 3 and 6 worth. Its Natural wood and says built for Curly Chalker. Email me and let me know what you would pay. Oldie not sure of year.
Thanks, Gary

Gary, Confucious nailed it when he said "a picture is worth a thousand words". Also, maybe some details on condition. Also didn't Chalker use C6 almost exclusively? I've heard this, so is this S10 a C6?

Probably 6 pedals and 3 knees. I bet it's a late '60s Baldwin S10. They're nice steels.

Might just be me, and I could be entirely wrong. But an S10 3+6 just doesn't sound like something Curly would've bought. Rolling Eyes

He was known for his C6th stuff, but the man was great on E9th, too. He just didn't prefer that tuning. By the time S10's became popular, all I saw him playing was a D10.

Gary, I think it's safe to say that we are all interested in this guitar, if not in the purchase, at least in the history and provinance of this instrument. I was unaware the Mr. Chalker ever played a single-neck Sho-Bud, and would love to hear the story of this guitar, and see some pictures.

If this guitar is what you claim it to be (which I do not dispute), I would think that it would be very valuble indeed just for the historical significance, whatever the condition (unless it has been converted into a wagon).
Please at the very least post some pictures of this guitar

Thank you.
