The owner of this fine g'tar lives(ed) in Idaho. He bought it as it has a decal saying Bigsby on the front of it. He waa broken hearted when I shared my view that it might no be a such.

What do YOU folks think it is?

PS. I some how misdirected this and it went to the wrong place. It should not have posted where it ultimately ended up. Sorry 'bout that. The guy I look up to as "a father image" as mislead me as to how simple this task would be.

Ray, the image you posted is named "1025_Wright_Bottom_side04_1"

Someone labeled it a Wright... so it must be a Wright, right?

Ray, using your mouse, Right click on the picture... and the name of the picture file should appear. OR go to your reply with the picture and click on EDIT or QUOTE and look at the Text for that picture. It says 1025_Wright_Bottom_side04_1

Whoever took that picture named it Wright Bottom side. Evidently the current owner did not take the picture and he did not notice the name of the picture file. It must be an early Wright pedal steel... ?

Yep, looks like a 50's Wright with a whole new undercarriage ( they were cable guitars ).
