Topic: Wide or Narrow Mount |

Hi,
This is probably a dumb question but how do you tell the difference between a narrow mounted and wide mounted pickup. Presumably one's narrow and one is wide. 
But I have a Mullen RP and I'm not sure which one is suitable?
I fancy trying a new pickup in it at some point.

A narrow mount pickup, such as a 70's on up Sho-Bud or a Mullen, attaches to the body on the short sides of the pickup, usually with two screws on one end and one screw on the other.
A wide mount pickup, such as an Emmons, mounts with four screws, two each on the long side of the pickup.
GeorgeL pickups, when new, have tabs for both styles of mounting. The player chooses the one appropriate for his guitar and discards the others.

| Your Mullen R.P. will require a narrow mount pickup. The new G2 model I believe now uses wide mounts. |
