My Webbs sound pretty much the same, which ever one I choose to use.The only advantage I see to the 8 ohm is if ya wanna use an 8 ohm ext cab sometimes, that gives ya a 4 ohm total on that amp. Smile

Mine is serial number 969, came with K-130 4-ohm. I thought they were standard around 78-79.

Michael Haselman is right, when Webbs first came out, K-130-4 speakers were included. Nice speakers, still love mine. The Webb's 225 watts is often too much for the 4 ohm JBL's, all mine are now 8 ohms, no probs since.

I ended up putting a BW 15 in mine after the JBL needed a 4th recone. I still have it though, and will probably get it reconed again some day. The Webb sees mostly basement time now. My NV 112 takes care of most all my gigs.
