We are still recording songs this spring, but if you want to hear some live-in-the-studio cuts they are now available on our myspace site. The new material (with me on steel and dobro) are the last 5 listed songs (the first 5 listed songs were recorded before I joined the group).

We recorded all set up in one room, with live mics (just like in the good old days), nothing overdubbed or punched in.... really quite an adventure
This is our paired down "acoustic" version of the band, with no drums or electric guitar... and most of the songs are of the "Western" variety, and not much swing... plans for a CD of the full 8 piece swing band are also in the works.
Hope ya'll like what we have so far. _________________ Dave Wren

Thanks so much for the kind words Chris.. I'll pass them on to the band! My personal tastes wander from Gene Autry, to Spade Cooley... and yes Jimi (my fav is Benny Goodman!). So it's nice to hear from a Stardust Alum that this is OK
Hope all is well with you... and if I ever get that far East.... we can share a beverage! _________________ Dave Wren
