I don't think that Bobby has been mentioned here lately, so I would like to remind everyone and the new guys just how great, IMO, Bobby and his band are. I have several of Bobby's CDs and they entertain me when I hit my treadmill for an hour in the am. Most are upbeat that keeps me psyched up to avoid boredom, and he has some of the best psg musicians in his band. Randy Reinhart et al, I can't think of the other psg musicians but some of you can chime in here. You can buy Bobby's CDs at www.yellowroserecords.com. |

No question about it - it's the kind of music I really love. Bobby's CDs are chock full of great vocals, great instrumentals, & great variety, all done so very tastefully! It's especially nice to hear so many different steel (and other) players throughout the various selections, many of whom are hard to find.
Way to go, guys! |

If ever there was a Musician and Singer that can "Do it All" it is Bobby Flores in my opinion.
Check out his site here and listen to some samples of Bobby and 6 (Jim Loessberg, Randy Reinhard, Bobby Flores, Rick Price, Dicky Overbey, and Tommy Detamore) of the very best Steel Players recording today. Read the credits to see how many Steel Players double and triple on various instruments, especially Bobby Flores. There are many great Country Bands in Texas, but none any better than Bobby Flores and his band in my opinion.

Thank you Roger for posting those names. I was so tired from helping our son hang sheetrock I just couldn't remember at the time. When I get back down to the San Antonio area I hope to meet Bobby & the rest in person. |
