Following on from Ron's question about the Swart amps: ARE there any new amps that are as compatible with a vintage lap steel as the old Valco-mades are said to be?

check out http://www.vintage47amps.com/files/, David is building Valco replicas that are really nice. Hi spricing as been incredibly low as he getting this project off the ground. He's had a great response and will definitely be raising prices so buy early and often.

Thanks for the link, Ross. Hi,Ron.

Interesting project. No surprise that they sell so quickly. I'd like to hear more sound clips- particularly of a few different lap steels. No doubt that'll come with time, especially in view of the shipping refund offer. But great stuff!
