Had the pleasure of meeting and playing with Mr. Brian Ostrum from up Canada way at the Manasota Steel Guitar Club meeting last night. A real class guy, great steeler and also sings a good song. That red SD-10 Williams was a pleasure to see and hear, as well. If you hear of him picking anywhere, be sure and go see him. _________________ 2013 Brook Torridge, 2014 Martin 000-18, two homebrew Teles, Evans RE200 amp, Quilter 101R head, understanding wife of 45 years. In my neighbourhood, the whole Ostrom family has a long-standing reputation as good musicians and fine people. I haven't seen Brian in a while, but he's one of the good guys !

Brian was at our Florida Steel Guitar Club jam too and he is an excellent picker.
If he comes back next year he has an open invitation to come to our club jams.
Brian and I have something in common, we both have worked for Tommy Cash. |
