250 and 500k pots on Chandler lap steel?

I recently traded for a Chandler Lap steel RH-2 model.
The pots are shot and I need to replace them. The wiring looks stock and appears not to have been touched.
The volume is a 250 k and the volume is a 500k.
Is this normal?

I welcome recommendations:
keep same values or do both in 250 or 500k pots?
