I had someone treansfer some old LP's to CD
and was struck by Buddy's tone and technique
way back when on La Golondrina from the Singing
Strings Album with Shot Jackson. No wonder he
was the hero of so many and still continues to be.
Here's one cut La Golondrina after I edited out
the scratches.

| I believe there's another version of it on the Four Wheel Drive album, with more prominent rhythm section and a sharper tone. |

My LP was really played out and filled with scratch
noise. I put the reduction at 100% and like you
say Doug that compressed the track too much.
It's all I got and it's still a "keeper" for me. 
Thanks for the comments because I learned something
from them about editing.

| That tune was on a Starday compilation album of different steel players and was titled "Singing Strings". I did not know the real name of it then. I was told by the Big E at the Jeffran College the real name of the song. Never knew why they didn't just use the original title. Don D. |
