Hello everyone! I thought I would announce that the Ft. Scott Jubilee, has reopened as the Ft. Scott Jamboree under Shawn Pittman from Branson. Austin Stewart has hired on to be the staff steel player and Shawn plays a mean fiddle. They are still getting the rest of the band put together, but we have people in place for this weekend for sure. We would love for you all to come out and visit us.

The Jamboree is every Saturday night in the Memorial Auditorium, 3rd and National, Ft. Scott, KS.

Show Starts at : 7:30pm
Tickets: $10.00 each
Under 16 is FREE

The show features a different guest artists each night and the band members sing or play special songs. It's old country and they are planning to put a little bluegrass music in at some point.

Austin is a crowd getter and a crowd pleaser. If you like steel guitar music you'll be extremely pleased. If you don't like steel guitar music, he'll win you over and you'll like it after you hear him play. He has a wonderful family to back him up. His parents and his little brother, Dalton, are wonderful to have around, great friends, and his grandparents are such a delight, also. Jerry, his grandpa, has invested many hours in Austin's life on the steel guitar and Donna, his grandma, has supplied many wonderful dishes at these steel shows. Now Randy, Austin's dad, has been delighting the crowds at different steel shows with delicious hot dogs and hamburgers. Hey, Fred, that makes us hungry just talking about it, doesn't it?

Austin my friend,
I am so proud of you. Very Happy I thought from the very beginning, when I heard you play in Siloam Springs a few years ago that you had what it takes to be a great steel player.
Remember what I told you "open your ears and listen" if you do, you will play better every day.

Your friend,
Terry Bethel

Austin says "Thank You!" to everyone for your well wishes. He is excited about the job because it gives him new challenges and lets him fly by the seat of his pants.

Mr. Bethal, had I known this announcement would have drawn you out of hiding, I would have made up something a long time ago. Laughing Hope you and Tyler are doing well.

Dana,
I haven't been hiding, Mr. Tillis has us running the roads more this year than we have in the Three and 1/2 years I have back with him(this time).
I know Austin will do great, with parents like you and Randy behind him, he has no choice but to succeed.
Tell Austin I am looking forward to him playing the OsSGA show in July. Both days if possible!!!!!!
Terry

Hi Terry. I am glad you guys are staying busy, but we sure missed you at the Feb. Branson show.

Hank let us know earlier he wanted Austin for both days this year and we agreed and are grateful to be asked. The new job was taken with the boss knowing that Austin plays with his Duling Band and plays steel shows. We are already booked a lot of Saturday nights for this year and the boss was kind enough to understand. So we look forward to the July Branson Show.

Roy, yes, Austin plans to be at Siloam both Saturday and Sunday. We look forward to seeing you and Barbara and hope you are feeling much better by then.

Thanks again everyone!
