John Hughey's steel needs to be displayed here as he has made country music shine.

Your suggestion is a good one HOWEVER..........

I've heard several very RELIABLE RUMORS from folks that REALLY KNOW.......concerning the handling of JERRY BYRD's old Bakelite Rickenbacher and Volu-Tone amp. They are horror stories, to be sure.

Is JERRY's guitar even on display any more, or has it been relegated to some dusty, dark, basement repository?

I'd hate to have that happen to John's wonderful g'tar.

Which one? There's a lot of John's guitars out there floating around. The one pictured here is in good hands. I wish they were my hands. LOL

Theres already one of John's Guitars in The Musicians Hall Of Fame in Nashville. It's the one he built and played when he came to town.

Very Happy

Not that one Tommy. My buddy Randy Weideman has it. Along with several other items that belonged to John.

You might remember him, Randy is the fella that took this picture.

L to R: Wayne Dahl, Russ Hicks, Mike Johnson, Paul Franklin, Larry Sasser, Randy Beavers, Jim Walker, Tommy Butler.
