I use the headphone jack on my NV112. Nice tone and private practice. My wife sleeps later than me so I practice while she sleeps. I also have a little Peavey Blazer amp that also has the headpone jack. There are many choices for headphones that will work, but I found the amplified headphones are not nearly as good on sound quality.

You will probably get some suggestions on your amps but I'm technically challenged. Or you could ask Mike Brown of Peavey at 1-877-732-8391, ext 1180.

I got the Blazer on Ebay for $39.00 and you might do the same? It works well with headphones.
