When I download from YouTube using Firefox and the downloader addon, I can no longer upload files to my Zune.
In the downloader software, I have it set to convert files after downloading and have "convert to wmv" and "convert to Mp4" rules selected. It does the conversion and I have the file in the directory I have set up in the Zune for my video files. When I try to synch with the Zune, it always (and I've tried at least 25 times or more, redownloading, converting, synching, etc.) but it always says (whatever number) items not added. It's always the files I just downloaded. I click on the yellow alert to the right of the file names and it says unable to synch because file is damaged or corrupt. Yet, I can play the file using the Zune software.
What's up?
What are you other Zune users doing to download YouTube videos and convert them to Zune playable files?
Something I tried was to delete the rule to convert the files to wmv. I did the download again with the only conversion rule selected being convert to Mp4. It still converted the file to wmv. Strange happenings in my book
Found a free software that works. |
