I've received numerous emails from people who already own the entire Gerald Ross "catalog" (I know I do - at least 100 times over).
They inquired about a "stand alone" price of the new CD.
But look at it this way... for an extra two bucks you get...
1. A free copy of any of my CDs that you can give as a thoughtful gift!
Easter, Passover, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Memorial Day, The Fourth of July, Cheddar Day (Wisconsin only), The Feast of St. Rosenberg...
These gift giving holidays are fast approaching... don't be caught without a last minute gift for someone.
2. The ultra-cool, very witty bumpersticker! Everyone loves stickers.
3. The UkeTone records logo stickers! Don't forget - Everyone loves stickers.
Did I mention that everyone loves stickers?
Nonetheless, for the person who already has everything, click here to purchase the Ukulele Hit Parade CD all by itself.

A thoughtful gift on this all-important holiday will mean a lot to a friend or loved one . . |

funny and cute. Not to be the voice of legality and reason but, Gerald you should consider that you're walking a very fine line between parody and utilizing someone's image for marketing purposes with out their permission. not that he'll care but, be careful. Better to be aware when you're doing stuff like that.
This is using his actual picture for sales. The video is cool.
Then again he might like the CDs..send him some copies |

I'm not trying to bust your chops Gerald. There's a reason releases are signed when video, audio or pictures are taken of someone. using someone's image for profit with out their consent is in fact infringing on their personal image. Whether it be you, me or Obama. Just because, I get the joke doesn't mean one should be unaware if the legality aspect. "I didn't know" is not an excuse if you get sued. If you were just making a joke you'd be covered under the parody law but, since you're parodizing to sell, it's a very very fine line.
As an artist with your own intellectual property I'd think this would be of interest to you. Many or actually most musicians are unaware of copyright and infringement issues. |

Thanks Eric - There are 15 songs on the disk. Seven of them are either dedicated steel guitar songs or have a steel guitar in the arrangement. All seven of those tunes were recorded with my Tribo-Tone bar! _________________ Gerald Ross

Watch out, the way this is going the government will take this enterprise over and Gerald will be forced out as President of his company and replaced by a Washington bureaucrat!
Those Tribo-Tone bars do work magic don't they? I have one now and it is my favorite.
Good work, Gerald.

Funny you should mention that Don.
I am in talks with former president, er, I mean vice president Dick Cheney.
Dick plays a 1949 Ricky Silver Hawaiian in D9 tuning.
UkeTone will be issuing Cheney's new CD sometime around Memorial Day - either then, or on the anniversary of "mission accomplished in Iraq".
A lot of people deride Cheney's music. They say he's just a Jerry Byrd clone. But I think he has something to offer. _________________ Gerald Ross

Just think that this may be the budding of a new career or it may just be therapy for what he has been through in Washington!

That was his effort to build his audience. There was also canned applause, but we just couldn't hear it!!

Obama was elected on his promise of free stuff for everyone, but, since there isn't enough wealthy taxpayers to pay for all of that free stuff it makes me wonder....who is going to pay for all that free stuff? _________________ "FROM THEN TIL' NOW" |
