Revival Squarenecks?

Hello all. I've recently come across a revival squareneck rr-18 which is on sale in a store for what appears to be a very very good price (given its list in the $800s). Anybody know anything about them? I did notice that within just the past week or so their homepage seems to be unavailable. A google search of "revival guitars" will bring up the message.

i played two new ones...the maple (staulted, vaulted..whatever) one was a dog but the normal sunburst one was great! i wanted it. but for less money..you should talk them down to 5 or 6 hundred max. plus, the holes for the tuners were slightly off center on one side.

I saw somebody on craigslist trying to sell one, but getting no responses. They are an unknown maker so far. I've only seen their guitars on eBay prior to this, and they seem overpriced.

In my opinion, whoever is doing their marketing needs to be more informed about their customers. They should be at least following the various resonator-based forums (fora?) and web sites.

Thanks for the input Brad. The resale value of these guitars is certainly an issue as they are not well known. And, their webpage (revivalacoustics) is still down??? It sure is nice looking though!
