O.K.,It's been a week and I've waited for some word on Junior Knight who was not seen at the TSGA show? I hope he's not sick. Probably booked somewhere else. I recall several years ago he announced that he wouldn't be doing the show anymore to give other players room on the bill, but he came back after popular demand called. Just curious.

Jim, don't know about the show in Dallas, but he was to work with Nix here last night. We didn't get to go and he was to call me when he got in town. I'll check and see today.

Just saw this post and YES...a lot of us missed the great steel and electric playing of one of my favorite steel players...Junior Knight (JR)!! I'm still trying to convert those 6-8 cassettes of yours into CD's so I can keep trying rip off a lick or two that you found years ago... Cool

Then there was another steel hero of mine missing -- Johnny Cox (JC). Be assured a lot of people were asking about you 'little brother'! Joan played with the usual wonderful tone... Very Happy
