Peavey tfex, ttfex mod still available?

I have both of these units and I don't know if they were modded. I got them used. When I bought them online, it was not noted they have been modded so I am just assuming they haven't. They have been in my coset for a year now but I don't want any battery leakage damage to occur. the tubefex in my opinion is the most all in one package processor/preamp and acrually is real tube and sounds good. Plus it has the tuner as well. Is this mod still available. Can it be done by the owner. I am pretty decent at desoldering and soldering (and it not that easy sometimes I might ad)

Anyway, if these mods are available, how much are they.
