A nice crowd and nine steelers showed up sunday for the Jam/Meeting at Branson Community Center.

Left to right : Jack Musgrave, Steve Melchi, Eddie Lane and Bob Carden.

Jerry Smythe, Hank Ruf and Tyler being ornery.

Back up band Denver Callahan lead guitar, Russ Burns drums and vocals, Buddy Lewis bass and vocals

Tyler Hall, Ed Javner, Keith Hilton

We missed Venda & Jerry Hanley--They had a previous engagement. Terry was away earning a living with The Statesiders. Hank says all players except one have confirmed for our big July show--check it out and watch for pictures from the above jam at our web site www.ozarksteelguitar.com

Yes, a good time was had by all. I thought everyone did a great job playing. I was really surprised at the high quality of players, both steel players and the back up band. Bill, I guess I am going to have to start playing more of the Ralph Mooney stuff. Everytime I do a little Mooney stuff, I get requests for more. The fellow at your table requested I do more of the Mooney stuff. I may just play, "The Bottle Let Me Down"--Mooney style in Siloam Springs this comming weekend.
Bill I hope you like my tone, I was the only guy there using a Fender tube amp. Hank was using an Evans solid state, and I think the rest were using Peavey solid state. I like Peavey and Evans both, but have been experimenting with the old Fender tube sound. Very Happy

Yep, you had great tone Keith coarse you were using a Hilton pedal and playing without shoes deadening the tones at the pedal bar. Must have been the combination of all three -- Laughing
