CHARLIE STEPP, BELOVED HUSBAND OF MARGIT, passed away this morning, March 21st at 9:15 a.m. He was the owner and builder of Derby Steel Guitars. Charlie was well known and loved by the steel guitar community. His passing will leave a huge hole in my life and all others who knew him. I will inform you of arrangements as I learn them.

We are at a loss for words!!! Charlie was more than the builder of a great guitar - he was one of our dearest and best friends.
