There's a pretty interesting looking Oahu brand acoustic Hawaiian guitar shown in this auction on eBay.

Could this be the Honolulu Trio of Franchini and Ferrara? The guitar appears to be later than their usual recording period.

Interesting, Brad.

The first thing that comes to mind is the Oahu Publishing Company. They liked to use "Honolulu" a lot--Honolulu Serenaders, Honolulu Conservatory of Music, etc.

Does anyone have an idea of the maker of this instrument? I'm recalling articles in Vintage Guitar magazine but don't have time to check my files right now. I'll be Michael Lee Allen knows!

Best,

Bob
