This is my first steel i got around 2000-2001. i'm not sure of the year it was made.
it has has been basically rebuilt by jim palenscar. i took it out of the case after it had been sitting for months, tuned up the 4th string that had gone a little flat and recorded myself doing this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rxxThAXvZb4

i humbly apologize to all the jimmy day fans out there for the video clip, but i that was the first piece that came to mind. it's a version of the steel solo from 'precious memories' from willie nelsons 'the troublemaker' record.

anyway. so you can see the guitar works and sounds nice. the pickup sounds pretty dark to me. i like 'em that way tho.
the guitar is in good condition. the flaws i know of are that the previous owner stuck a piece of velcro to the right side of the back apron, prob for a tuner of some sort.
as well, one of the leg sockets is a little loose, so when you screw the leg in, it keeps turning. the leg seems to seat well, and it does screw back out, so it's not a life threatening problem, just something you should be aware of as a prospective buyer.
The guitar has 3 pedals(emmons set up) and one LKL lever that flats the 8th string only.
$500.00 +shipping
thanks for looking, and if you have any questions feel free to call me at 323-819-0959.

Here's some pics ( the other "little Buddy" laying in the chair is not for sale, however there is a little video clip of him too on the youtube.)

yeah, she's a cutie alright. works real good too. if you have any students that might be interested, i'd be happy to cut a good deal to not have to ship this little guy.
as well, i'm getting rid of a single neck so bud that is the same (model) guitar i bought when i moved up from this here little buddy.
both great guitars.
anyway, i'm just chummin' for work. playing steel and guitar in a musical production right now. show tunes. crazy.
it's called makin' hay. an adapted Moliere play, now set in 1959 texas. Love, Betrayal, the usual theatrical cornerstones.
I've met a couple of your students here and there through my travels. good to see you're still spreading the good word.
take care,
Jordan

the case is in fine condition. if you'd like, you can email me an offer. i'd like to see it getting used to make some music, not just sit around here taking up space.
thanks,
Jordan
