Had a "BLAST" Working with my dear freind Fred Justice and to able to help him introduce the Justice Steel Guitar. Beautiful instrument With exceptional tone. Didn't expect anything less from a prefectionist.
Also had a great time making new best freinds with my new brothers Jerry Foster and Mike MaGee. Was nice being able to but a face all those names of forum memebers I have meet here over the past 4 years.
Am shooting to make the Branson Show again this July to help Fred out.

Danny, it was a blast! You come on up ANYTIME. Bring the crawdads and we'll cook the possum :>)

Tell all my new cajun buddies that the pleasure of their company was all mine. What a great time we had. But... don't drop a spoon!

Take care and stay in touch.

Hey Danny: I'm glad you posted so I can make my coments without opening a new thread.
First; my thanks to you for all your help & friendship the 2 days I was there. A special thanks to Fred for allowing me to display my Gitfiddles on his table all day Sat. absolutely free. I did get him to take a pair of the coated picks. He's a very special person in my book, & has as good & pretty Steel as any at the show.
I was pleasantly shocked when I met the Jackson brothers. I knew Shot personally in the 50s & thought I was seeing a double ghost. They both have his great personality too.
Got to mention Gary Carpenter of Rains also. He went out of his way to sell some picks for me. Folks; Ignore the negative post about him, It's not true. I could go on for a long time but won't. Just to say; Steel Guitarist are the closest, friendliest Brotherhood in the world. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Andy H.

Andy
I agree.
I had a chance to sit and play Fred's new Justice steel on Thursday before the crowd came in.
Very nice tone and easy to play and a real sharp looking steel.
He has a great smile,a lovable guy and plays the heck out of that steel as well.
I also spent a lot of time with Harry Jackson and my friend is having a special 8 string pedal steel made for him by Harry and his brother.

Folks, Fred has done a great job on these guitars. They play and sound great! He flipped one upside down and I got a good look and the "engine". Everything is clean with no clutter. You can tell it had been well planned out, and he worked his plan. Mighty fine guitar!

Good job Fred.

It's always great to see Uncle Fred! Congrats on how well your new guitar is doing. You have a mighty fine instrument on the market.

It was great to see you again in Dallas. Although I am not sure if I should whip you for keeping my boy out so late every night, or thank you for keeping him out of trouble for me. Very Happy

The namesake guitar you are building, Fred, is almost as beautiful as the music you play. Your set was one of the best at the jamboree, and as everyone in attendance knows, there were many world class players. You are, as someone said, a 'class" act. Always great to see and hear you, dear friend.

Boys and Girls, I took my personal guitar and (2) other SD-10's to the Dallas Show.
We took some orders and sold the black guitar.
This beautiful SD-10 with 3 and 5 is still available. Its Empire Mahogany in color and plays like butter.

I will continue with the show discounted price on this guitar. If your interested, contact me directly at 928-425-9485 or email me at fredsmusic@cableone.net Thanks for looking. Very Happy

Jerry Foster is a real big supporter of our local Kansas City steel club here. Plus one heck of a good guy. Jerry makes about every jam and really is a fun player to watch and listen. And besides steel he's a pretty good guitarist and bass player to boot. I'm looking forward to seeing Jerry play his Justice guitar at our next jam.
