I received a new Stageone from Doug on Friday and highly recommend this model for beginners. Great guy to deal with, at my door in six days, and has nice round bottoms without any twang. Also sturdy and well built. Will post pics after I get my armrest from Don Blood. 5 stars for Doug Earnest and Stageone.

Great choice Bill. I bought a new Zumsteel Stage One from Doug, and put a Don Blood armrest on it, too. It's a knockout combination. Both builders are great guys to deal with, too.

I noticed a Stage One for sale recently on the Forum, Doug graciously chimed in with an offer to honor the warranty to the new buyer. Now that's standing by your product.

I agree Rick. We spoke on the phone a few times and he couldn't have been more helpful. He was leaving for Wash. for some generator work but had his wife mail the instrument on Weds. and I received it Friday. He offers a one year guarantee and I don't think anyone has used it to date. I also am confident that he would handle any problems gracefully even after the year. A real pleasure to do business with.
