Last year I constructed a lap steel stand. I took a three quarter inch thick piece of cherry wood about 35 inches long and 13 inches wide. I attached 4 metal telescoping legs to it using leg scokets. The legs have clutches and are adjustable.
The legs alone sell for about $160 on Ebay.
I also put a piece of outside corner moulding on the back side of the cherrywood to give a kind of backstop to keep the guitar from sliding off as you play it.
Since I now play a Remington Steelmaster with legs, I don't have need of the stand. Anyone care to take it off my hands for, lets say $100.00 plus shipping? _________________ "Shoot low boys, the're ridin' Shetlands" |
