Norwegian Steel Festival.

Jay Dee Maness will be our only U.S. guest since Tom Brumley has developed back problems which require surgery in the near future..
Our steel festival takes place in Hattfjelldal 17 - 19 August with both a Buck Owens night and a Desert Rose night featuring Jay Dee together with Dag Wolf´s band. Also, there will be a seminar run by Bengt Erlandsen and we will end the weekend with a church concert on Sunday.

I have just got back from a marvellous time in the north of Norway. The music was world class and the hospitality was first class - many thanks to Steinar (both of them), Dag Wolf, Leif Aaase, Egil and everyone else who I met whilst I was there.

If Jay Dee Maness is reading this - I am sure he will, it was a great pleasure to meet both you and your wife and I hope that we can do it again in the future.

Yes, Im sorry I forgot to mention Bengt, we had some long discussions - he certainly is a thinker, but he didnt tell me about his theory on fretboard markings, I will ask him.
