Here's one... actual text from an ad on St. Louis Music Classified website:

Musicians Wanted

Instrument: Lead Vocals

Specific Style: Originals

Title: Metal screamer/singer

God's Infected Creation is looking for a frontman/woman to bring us to life or death. We practice always on Sundays in Belleville IL and sometimes an extra day during the week. Who we need is screamer first, singer secondary. Just think Nothingface, Machinehead, Fear Factory etc. It wouldn't be very often that singing would be asked for, but some songs call for a melodic voice. We like to think we have some diversity and originality in our music, that's not the same monotonous BS all around. Don't get me wrong, we love death metal, but it's getting played out way too much lately. We just simply just write kick @$$ songs that the kids can get violent to.
We have no big goals. We want to play live, have some fans, record some stuff, and most importantly, have fun rocking out.

Well Steve, that certainly confirms a hell of a lot of my suspicions. Now I can rest easy tonight without the meds.
