Pam Bertoli performs 5-7pm with Meg Griffin's "Trainwreck"
featuring the legendary Pedal Steel Guitarist, Buddy Cage
(who played with New Riders of the Purple Sage, Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia and others).
FREE CONCERT on the beautiful banks of
Five Mile River in Pinkney Park - Rowayton, CT.
Come with chairs, blankets and a picnic.
Kids are welcome. (There is also a good
market down the street for food and drink)
Directions:
Pinkney Park on Five Mile River
Rowayton Ave at Pennoyer Street
From 95 North, exit 12, Rowayton CT. At bottom of ramp, turn right onto Tokeneke Road (also rte 136). Follow for approx 1.5 miles into town of Rowayton. (You will go through 2 stop lights, and will begin to see flashes of the river on your right. Pinkney Park is a bit further on the right, opposite Methodist church on left, before you come to main set of shops in town.)
From 95 South, take exit 11, get back on 95 northbound, then take exit 12, and follow directions above.

I wish I could be there...that'll be a great show. Are you going? I've got three gigs this weekend (two paid, one not), so by Sunday I doubt if I'll have any energy left to make the trip. I'm gonna try to catch Buddy at the Stone Pony in Jersey on the 31st though.
