Hi, Forumites,
I'm looking for two old friends of mine. These guys' names are Jim Davies and Byron Schnell. I first met them back in about 1982 or 83, when we were all living in Germany and in the Air Force. I was based in Geilenkirchen, and Byron and Jim were stationed at Bitburg. These fellows played in a fantastic band at Bitburg, and that band was called Southland, USA. Jim was an absolutely outstanding vocalist, and a better than average guitar player. I sold him a wonderful Stratocaster. Byron was a terrific guitarist, not a bad singer, and I sold him an MSA D-12 psg. I left Germany the first time in June '85, and I think both of these guys would have left Bitburg not too long after that. I do know that Jim was married then to an Aussie gal, and I think Byron was single at the time. If anyone has ever heard of either of these two fellows, or maybe knows one or both of them, I'd sure be grateful if you could let me know. I'd love to get back together with them.
