That was a great tone! Hot player and that MSA guitar rocked. The singer was real good too, but the bass player was a bit crude and w-a-y too loud.

Gotta love this show... :- )

The Steelplayer was my buddy, Johnny Cox. The singer was Ron Williams, and the "too" loud bass player was Justin Trevino. Leona Williams, Ron's mom was also on.

They always seem to have a lot of trouble getting the sound right on that show. I always get a kick out of the camera being on whoever is NOT playing the lead also..................homegrown TV at it's best. But they are getting better all the time and the show IS improving. Anyone who saw it back when it started would have to agree. At least RFD has this stuff on to watch.....beats the dry, dead, scrtchy, boring, repetative stuff on the Opry spot.......

Please don't misunderstand about the bass player. Just on my teevee it was real loud and thumping. My sincere apology if I can across as judgemental. Good golly that is Mr. Johnny. Great pickin' and tone.

and now I know!

God Bless ya all... :- )

Dr. Ralph is on now and I'm a happy camper!

That show must have been from way back last year or even earlier when Johnny was still at MSA. The credits said that I was on also. Did you see me or did i just get credit?

Justin is a good singer, It is rather hard to sing and play bass. I've done it before myself. And it ain't easy

Joe Savage was on and the gentleman who plays the beautiful Gibson-looking console behind David Church. I didn't see anyone else, but I was making dinner at the time.

I like David Church -- he's a great singer...

The fellow on the Gibson was Dennis Pardo from Maryland. My guitar if I was on would have been my push-pull or my fingertip. That clip of David was from the one rare time I didn't make the trip with him. That was filmed in 2007.

Craig, who will be backing David at the "Udder Jam" coming up soon?

For those of you who have no plans for the 20th, 21st & 22nd, Craig has a great show lined up in Wisconsin Rapids.

George I think that I have the honors. I was kind of hoping that David would talk Johnny Cox into coming with him since they have been working together in Texas on some jobs, That would be something wouldn't it?
