Can anybody help me out with how to play the pedal steel part in "Lay Lady Lay" by Bob Dylan? It's sounds relatively simple, but I'm a noob.

If you want to play it in A just start on 5th fret no pedals or levers then lower the E strings, move to the 3rd fret and do the same. Then it's just noodling around and moving the E's up and down a bit to get some feeling.
