I think Bobbe Seymour has sold his $40K (email him to be sure). Otherwise: it's yeah-right...or Todd Clinesmith for a worthy modern version.

Daniel, you need to check the date on your price guide. You are seriously out of the loop. You will NEVER find a Bigsby for $5000. Or even 10,000.

Hello Daniel;
These gentlemen are all telling you the latest.
UNLESS you have a LOT of $$$$$$ you will probably not find a bigsby for the price you listed..
Have a look at these = very close : Ron

I have a suggestion for you.
Buy the Bigbys you have found for less than $8,000 and sell them to me for a profit.
Awaiting your sales offers.

I have another suggestion for you. i will give you a finders fee for all those Bigsbys you have found that you think are overpriced at less than $8,000 but over $5,000.

I will pay you $1,000 for every one you send my way if the Bigsby guitar is complete and a transaction is completed.

Awaiting your reply.

Interestingly.......I just got back from Todd Clinesmith's shop in Glide OR. I went there w/ fellow forumites: Harley James, Russ Blake and Ray "Skipper" Montee.

Todd is a helluva nice guy and has much of the original Bigsby tooling/equipment. He's making both pedal and non-pedal Bigsby guitars. Each one is a work of art. Some lap steels are on the drawing board as well. The guy is already a well respected high-end Dobro builder......talk about your Renaissance Man!

I'll post some pix of his Bigsby-esque guitars later tonite
