I am a new comer to this wonderful forum .I need some advice from lap steel guitar player who has the same SE200 amp.
I like to know how you guys are using Depth, Expand,Body , Scruff control switch. Depth and Expand swich are small dial type with no numerical indication while Body and Scruff dial have numbers
ranging from zero to 10.
I believe there must be a good conbination of these
many switchs .Expand switch and Depth, Body switchs
seems to be some contradiction, or trade-off
relation because Depth and Body cut high while Expand enhance high.
Thank you very much

Toma, see if this link helps you. It's a description of all the typical controls found on an Evans amp. I have a '98 Evans AE200 head, and found this useful.

Hi Toma, The below listed settings are what I use on my Mullen. I know its not a non pedal as you had ask for but these settings might be a good place to start.

Master (always set master at a higher number than the volume)
Scruff Off
Reverb Off or to your taste
Bass 7.5
Depth 3.5 o'clock
Body 7
Expand 10 o'clock
Treble 0 to 2 (works with expand)
Volume (Alway a number below master)

Hope this at least gives you a place to get your sound started. I love My Evans SE200. alan
