I borrow this from my old mate, Del, occasionally.

It is surprisingly roomy, although the handling can get a bit hairy if the load moves Shocked

I can't beat Richard, but Beechcraft Bonanza usually gets me to the shows I play, V tail, you know, the doctor killer. It's still safer than driving!

If it's with in forty or fifty miles we usually drive our personal cars,if it's one or two hundred miles we go in our Silver Eagle[The Strokin Dixie Express] If we can't get extra money from the gig for fuel,The five of us chip in,still cheaper than driving our vehicles. this Fri night we have a gig about 30 minutes away, will drive our cars,Sat night a gig about two hours away, will take the bus. A Prius (Attn. Prius hating lunatic fringe: Don't start with me) Holds everything I ever need for bass or steel gigs, including an upright bass, easily.

Small to mid sized 4 door SUV for me, all my gear, amp, rack, seat and CASED steel fit behind the rear seat and with tinted glass and a dark blanket you can't see whats in there.
I have full use of all seating, the rear seats fold down if I need to haul someone elses gear.
Everything fits on my roadrunner dolly and I wheel everything in and out in one trip.

When it's available I drive our Suburban , I take everything I own and then some, and there is still room for 5 or 6 homeless people that I can offer rides to along the way. Sometimes I take along a Gas Grill and refrigerator and stop and have a barbecue at the half way point.

Some of my rides from high school til now. You might notice a degeneration of the coolness factor, but nonetheless, I don't recommend a Corvette. Laughing
