The best pitch correction plug in IMO is Melodyne:

but it is somewhat labor intensive to get the correction you want and retain a natural sound.
"Fully automatic", in my experience, does not come without unwanted side effects, but you may want to look at AutoTune:
http://www.antarestech.com
which does have an automatic real time mode. |

Hi David,
I use Logic Pro, Apogee Duet and a Macbook.
I've heard great things about Melodyne but I've always had good results with Logic's Pitch Correction. I think with all these plugins if you set a very quick response time it can sound unnatural on vocals.
Cheers,

David, I did tell you about Melodyne a few years ago, nothing else comes close to it, because you can change one note at a time , Plus it has a number of other tools that are useful. |
