Me too. I am a relatively new steel player (bass player in rock bands for 40 years) as of April 2008. I am currently working on this tune also. I maybe will be able to get it using Winamp with 2 plug-ins....Loopmaster and Pacemaker (creates a loop of what you are working on and able to slow way down keeping it in key.....very effective). But of course, any help from epxerienced players will always be appreciated.
P.S. This is my first posting to the Forum..just joined today. _________________ Williams S10 3X5 keyless, Hilton pedal, multi-effects processor, Peavey Nashville 112. Dobro, Banjo, 6 & 12 acoustic. Current band: "Relaxed Fit" |

In the last beat of bar 3 and first beat of bar 4, Paul used a knee lever that raises 1 F# to G# and also raises 2 D# to E. Many players don't have this knee lever.
Also he used the B and C pedals together at the end of bar 1, end of bar 4, and first 2 beats of bar 5.

Hey Thanks Earnest. Any chance that this could be converted to tab ?....too many years of R & R have wiped out my ability to read music. _________________ Williams S10 3X5 keyless, Hilton pedal, multi-effects processor, Peavey Nashville 112. The first 2 notes are C and E, and I indicated that fret 8 would be a likely place to find them. I'm sure you can figure it out from there by just counting note up and down the scale. Or better yet, if you are interested in music, there are lots of sites on the internet to explain basic notation. |
