When removing the changer from an Emmons LLII do you have to remove the neck?

I think that it isn't nessessary, you would probable need to remove the pickup to access the screws on top. It's that way on my JCH and I believe that it's quit similar as the Emmons.

I did remove the pickup but there still dosen't appear to be enough clearance to pull out. Thank for the reply.
