I got the cd a week ago "Between the Whiskey and the Wine" and can't stop listening to it(maybe because I haven't heard anything like it in a long time)
When I heard the sound clips I thought it sounds ok and its free, I'll request a copy. When I heard the cd it was a total surprise, WOW !!! what a voice and RD sounds great. You guys hit the nail smack dab center on, you hit the ball out of the park. What a great country music cd.
This is not a comparison, just my observation but every once in a while I can hear a little Connie Smith in that voice. Thats a good thing for sure.
Any way if you guys ever go on the road come to Phoenix, I'll be the first in line to see you.
Thanks Miss L and Ricky for some great country music.

I agree with Will 100 per cent. I haven't touched my guitar for awhile (due to my macular degeneration) but this CD gave me inspiration to dust it off and play along. Reminds me of the old days and is my kind of music. I hear a little Crystal Gayle in Miss Leslie's voice and there is not one cut on the CD that I don't like. Thank you!

As much as I love the music of Leona Williams and Amber Digby, this is my favorite CD by a female artist for as long as I can remember. All new material - the lady wrote all the songs herself. And don't forget, that she had two CD's out prior to this one...

I just recived my CD. Miss Leslie can really sing very well. This is what country music is all about. This CD is perfect in every way. For anyone that wants to hear pure country music this is the CD to get. Thanks again for a job well done.

Ricky and Leslie are a perfect combination. Ricky Davis is a classic vintage sound pedal steel guitar player. Great vintage tone and touch.

As I mentioned in another thread, I think she's the female equivalent of Johnny Bush. I love her singing.

She seems to have an accent. Could that be a cajun accent?
