Today I say good bye to my good friend, co-worker, musician of over 25 years. I met Eddie on the 20th Century Fox studio lot in West Los Angeles and worked with him in the Mailroom for a brief time. Eddie had his own band but at times he would sit in with my band "Bronco Billy" and he would sing and play his guitar while backing me and my group. Eddie loved "Country music" and always told me that he admired the fact that I played pedal steel and wished that he had learned when he was younger although I'm also a guitarist as well as steeler. Anyway Eddie's playing for the angels now and I reckon they will dig his playing as much as I did.

Somberly,

Billy Woo aka
Bronco Billy

My good friend Eddie Armendariz was laid to rest over the weekend and as I viewed his collage of memories I saw my own life in parallel, young altar boy then the long hair and then the longer hair and then the variety of guitars and I thought 'what a trip' there are so many just like us that have lived this life and embraced music as our passion. Anyway I'd like to thank all that posted here and Thank you for your kind words.

Best Regards,

Billy Woo
