Just wonder what some of you think about this pickup. I got my own opinion but any more don't trust it any further than I can throw it.

Norris, I have a set of these in my Mullen G2, and I think they are great. Gary Morse (of Brooks & Dunn) uses them in his Desert Rose guitars and he says he likes them too. In both cases here, these are natural body guitars. I haven't tried them in mica guitars yet.

I also have one in my desert rose. I pulled it out and put in a 10-1 like I have used before in 4 other guitars and really liked. the desert rose just died. The wound string responce was gone. The high strings didn't mellow down all that much. Needless to say the EON went right back in.
I'm trying to guess what would happen with my Magnum with the EON instead of the 10-1.

Hi Norris,

I have an EON in my mica-finished Carter SD-10 and I really like the sound of this pickup. The tone is very balanced and doesn't seem to be lacking at any point in its range.
