After many months my speaker cabinet is finally finished. I am lucky that my best friend is a furniture maker and helped me through this difficult (for me) project. I made it to blend in with my other Mesa gear. The nice prople at Mesa sold me the jack plate and the speaker came from Jim Palenscar. The wood is cherry. It sounds pretty good too.

Nice cab. I notice that you have all the screws on your back covers oriented at 12:00-6:00. Was this some kind of strange Harmonic Convergence of the Universe, or did you actually line them up that way?

Just curious.

Steve,
It's common knowledge that cabinet screws need to be oriented that way to keep from setting up non-harmonic nodes.

The same way black guitars sound better Winking

Thanks for the compliments guys. The screw alignment wasn't an accident. My friend Dave who guided me through this project is very particular about how things are done!

His real name isn't Adrian Monk, is it?
