Why would you need an indestructible guitar? |

I wonder if they have any new road worn guitars? How can you buy a metal guitar if it doesn't look like you've been playing it for 15 years. _________________ heavily medicated for your safety |

This project of mine is coming along nicely:
It's one of the 100 or so Tele bodies and 400 Strat bodies that Spruce Hill Music made for Fender back in 1993. Some of the Strats ended up as Harley Davidson models, some as Indian motorcycyle commemoratives, some got anodized, but the Teles just about disappeared. An aluminum body was actually listed as an option for Telecasters in the Fender 1994 and 1995 catalogs, but most of them went to the custom shop and then apparently to collectors - they're rare as hen's teeth.
Just about all of my parts are here, I'm mainly waiting for the finish I put on the USA Custom neck to cure (another few weeks probably).
If what I read about these and the Trussart Steelcasters and the like are correct, they're not really too trebly, because they're also really bassy and really midrangey - A.K.A., really LOUD....
Speculation leads nowhere, after a point - hurry, neck....

Donny. It was Machine Design. Strange how they sometimes do musical instruments. _________________ heavily medicated for your safety |
